Project Overview

Wizardshot came to us with a more contained scope than many of our other projects. The site didn't need a major overhaul or a deep structural rework. What it needed was a clean-up of what already existed, paired with a steady stream of new content to build on a solid but underdeveloped foundation.

The Challenge

As a newer product built on a strong parent brand, Wizardshot's site had a handful of pages that were thin or didn't fully reflect the product's evolving feature set. At the same time, there were clear gaps in the content library, comparison pages, feature explanations, and use-case content that hadn't been published yet but represented real opportunity, especially with competitors like Tango and Scribe already occupying that space. The task wasn't to fix something broken, but to tidy up loose ends and start filling in what was missing.

The Steps That Were Required

With a scope this focused, the plan stayed simple and direct. Here are the steps that had to be taken:

  1. Review of existing pages to identify what needed cleanup, consolidation, or removal

  2. Research into content gaps, including competitor comparison pages and underdeveloped feature content

  3. Drafting and publishing new pages aligned with the site's goals

  4. Ongoing upkeep to keep the site clean as new content rolled out

The Execution

This project moved quickly and cleanly compared to most of our work. We cleared out the pages that weren't serving a purpose, tightened up what remained, and got to work publishing new pages on a consistent basis, including comparison content positioning Wizardshot against tools like Tango and Scribe. Because the scope was well-defined from the start, there was little friction along the way, and the site has continued to grow in a straightforward, sustainable manner.
